 Telluride Ski Resort, located in Mountain Village, Colorado, is a world-renowned winter sports destination known for its stunning scenery, diverse terrain, and challenging runs. It is situated in the San Juan Mountains, part of the Rocky Mountains, which boasts the highest concentration of 13,000 and 14,000-foot peaks in North America.   • Terrain: The resort offers over 2,000 acres of skiable terrain with a variety of slopes suitable for all skill levels.
    • Beginner: 23% of the terrain is dedicated to beginners, providing wide-open slopes for learning in a low-pressure environment. 
    • Intermediate: 36% of the resort caters to intermediate skiers and snowboarders, featuring corduroy cruisers, glades, moderate bumps, and short chutes off lifts like Village (Lift 4), Palmyra (Lift 5), and Prospect (Lift 12). 
    • Advanced/Expert: 41% of the terrain challenges advanced and expert skiers and snowboarders with steep bump runs like those found off Plunge (Lift 9) and Gold Hill (Lift 14), including runs like Kant-Mak-M, Spiral Stairs, Mammoth, Little Rose, Dynamo, and Electra. 

  • Lifts: Telluride has 17 lifts, including 2 gondolas, 5 high-speed quads, 1 fixed quad, 2 triples, 2 doubles, 2 surface lifts, and 3 magic carpets. The Revelation Lift is the tallest lift, reaching an elevation of 12,570 feet. The lift system has a capacity of 22,386+ skiers per hour.
  • Elevation and Vertical Drop: The base elevation is 8,725 feet, and the summit elevation is 13,150 feet, with a lift-served elevation of 12,515 feet. The total vertical drop is 4,425 feet, and the lift-served vertical drop is 3,845 feet.
  • Trails: The resort has 148 trails, including beginner runs, gladed tree skiing, terrain parks, open bowls, steeps, chutes, inbounds hike-to, and advanced terrain. The longest run is the "Galloping Goose," which spans 4.6 miles.
  • Average Annual Snowfall: Telluride receives an average of 280 inches of snowfall annually.
  • Free Gondola: A free gondola connects the town of Telluride to the Mountain Village, providing convenient access to the slopes and amenities.
  • Activities Beyond Skiing: Besides skiing and snowboarding, Telluride offers snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, fat biking, and various winter festivals and events. The resort also features spas, luxury accommodations, and a range of dining and shopping options.

Where is home for 7 nights?  Mountain Side Inn.    This property offers great guest service at our on-site front desk. We also offer two outdoor hot tubs, propane grills, WiFi, riverside sitting area with tables and chairs, coin-operated laundry facilities, ice machine, vending machine. 

  • Location: Situated right next to the creek and by the chairlift (Chair 7), offering easy access to hiking and skiing. It's a short walk to town and the gondola. Close to the trail to walk around town.
