About this trip

ABOUT PARK CITY RESORT & TOWN:

Park City Mountain Resort, located in Park City, Utah, is a renowned ski resort and a major tourist attraction, hosting various activities beyond skiing and snowboarding. It holds the distinction of being the largest ski resort in the United States, featuring over 7,300 skiable acres, 43 lifts, and 341 runs across its expansive terrain.

 Terrain and Activities

  • Diverse Terrain: The resort caters to all skill levels, from beginners to expert skiers and snowboarders. It boasts wide-open spaces and gentle slopes ideal for beginners, particularly on the Park City Mountain Village side. Intermediate and advanced skiers can enjoy a vast network of trails, including challenging bowls and tree runs.
  • Terrain Parks: For thrill-seekers, there are six terrain parks, including a half-pipe and a mini-pipe. Beginner parks, such as Little Kings Park at the Park City base and Pinedraw Park at the Canyons Village base, offer a gentler introduction to park features.
  • Beyond Skiing: Park City Mountain Resort offers a variety of summer activities, including:
    • Mountain biking and hiking on an extensive trail system (over 400 miles).
    • The Alpine Slide, one of the longest alpine slide tracks in the world, stretching over 3,000 feet.
    • A Mountain Coaster, providing a roller coaster-like experience on the mountain.
    • Zip-lining, including the exhilarating ZipRide and the more kid-friendly Flying Eagle Zipline.
    • Scenic lift rides, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
    • Activities at the Mountain Village base, such as a climbing wall, trampolines, panning for gold, and miniature golf.
  • Winter Alternatives: Even if skiing isn't your primary interest, you can enjoy scenic gondola rides, snow tubing, ice skating, magical sleigh rides, winter hiking, dog sledding, and snowmobiling.
